DILAPIDATION SURVEY MEETING

Dear Brantham,

We were scheduled to hold a Sections Committee Meeting tomorrow (Monday 08th December) at 7pm at Brantham Leisure Centre, normally attended by section representatives and a representative from Brantham Parish Council. However, at present, our BPC representative has recently resigned, and we have not yet been informed of their replacement.

In light of the information shared at the recent Parish Council meeting, the refusal to grant an extension for completing the remedial works identified in the dilapidation survey, and the increasing concerns we are receiving about whether the Leisure Centre may close, we have decided to open this meeting to all social members, staff, customers, community users, regular hirers, and Brantham residents who wish to attend.

The meeting will cover:

• The sequence of events relating to the dilapidation survey
• A copy of the survey itself and relevant correspondence from Brantham Parish Council’s solicitors
• Proposals and actions being taken by the current Directors and Management team in response to the survey findings

Please note that we are unable to provide information on the Parish Council’s reasons for requesting the survey.
